If you are a European Union national and possess a Tax and Social Security Number, you are entitled the right of living and working in Portugal without a permit, if you are in possession of a valid passport. While living in Portugal you will enjoy the same rights as a Portuguese citizen with regard to salary, work conditions and your eligibility to housing, vocational training and social security.
